Kentucky is Underwater

It has rained for 2 days straight across much of the midwest and it wouldn’t at all surprise me to see an Ark being built in the area.

  • A farm's fence on hwy 150 is nearly totally submerged after 2 days of heavy rain fail in the midwest.
  • A farm, which sits on the bank of a creek, learns the hard way their property is in a zone prone to flooding.
  • A creek's overflows it's banks and runs into the neighboring farmland after 2 days of heavy rainfall around the midwest.

  • A house that sits perilously close to a river in Perryville KY, may be underwater by morning if rain does not subsite
  • Rain has fallen for 2 days straight across most of the midwest and Ohio valley.

  • No, this is not a lake. On a dry day, this would simply be a cow field near Perryville, KY.
  • A sewer cover bubbles water releasing toxins downstream and into yards in the area.

    Wow! This is amazing and sad all at the same time. I have seen photos on national news of flooding near Nashville, but did not know that KY was hit this hard. Guess the track for the Derby could have been a whole lot worse! Love the use of black and white for these photos.
