It's spring again! I know this because Carolina Cup was this past Saturday. On a cloudless, 70 degree spring day, the college kids came out in masses to "watch" horse racing dressed in their spring best. Here are my best.
The Queens Cup Steeplechase celebrated it's 15th anniversary this year. The non-profit event sends all race proceeds to the Make a Wish Foundation, who help supply us with volunteers and in return, we usually have several kids come out and spend a wonderful day at the races in rural North Carolina.
Spring has FINALLY arrived in central Kentucky. Winters are long and cold around here so the wonderful spring weather has really turned the already stunning Centre campus into a little piece of eden.
